{"id":268,"date":"2020-06-10T09:25:09","date_gmt":"2020-06-10T09:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cloud.ic.uff.br\/?p=268"},"modified":"2023-04-13T04:18:17","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T04:18:17","slug":"projeto-aprovado-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cloud.ic.uff.br\/index.php\/pt\/2020\/06\/10\/projeto-aprovado-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Projeto Aprovado"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>O projeto\u00a0<em><strong>BioCloud &#8211;\u00a0 Um Framework para Execu\u00e7\u00e3o Eficiente de Aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de Biotecnologia em M\u00faltiplas Plataformas da Nuvem AWS<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>foi aprovado na chamada\u00a0\u00a0<em>CNPq\/AWS N\u00ba 032\/2019 \u00ad Acesso \u00e0s Plataformas de Computa\u00e7\u00e3o em Nuvem da AWS.\u00a0<\/em>O projeto \u00e9\u00a0coordenado pela professora Alba Melo da Universidade de Bras\u00edlia (UnB) e conta com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos professores do IC-UFF Cristina Boeres,\u00a0Vinod Rebello \u00a0e <span class='tooltipsall tooltipsincontent classtoolTips0'>L\u00facia Drummond<\/span>, e dos alunos de doutorado do laborat\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n<p>O principal objetivo deste projeto \u00e9 fornecer aos pesquisadores um framework para a execu\u00e7\u00e3o eficiente de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de biotecnologia<br \/>\nutilizando a Amazon Web Services (AWS).<\/p>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"> toolTips('.classtoolTips0','<img class=\"size-medium wp-image-960 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cloud.ic.uff.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Lucia_Drummond-300x240.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"240\" \/><br\/><br\/>Full Professor at the Institute of Computing of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF).<br\/><br\/>&nbsp;<br\/><p align=\"justify\">Short Bio: She obtained her D.Sc. in Systems Engineering and Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1994, where she took part of the group which developed the first Brazilian parallel computer. She is in the Department of Computer Science of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) since 1989, where she is now Full Professor. She currently acts in undergraduate and graduate program, advising a number of master and doctoral students. She is a Level 1 Researcher at CNPq (a Brazilian Research Agency), possessing more than 100 publications in journals and proceedings of national and international conferences. Her research interests are parallel and distributed computing, including theory and applications.
