She is in the Department of Computer Science of the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) since 1989, where she is now Full Professor. She currently acts in undergraduate and graduate program, advising a number of master and doctoral students. She is a Level 1 Researcher at CNPq (a Brazilian Research Agency), possessing more than 100 publications in journals and proceedings of national and international conferences. Her research interests are parallel and distributed computing, including theory and applications. She has been invited to give talks in Universit\u00e9 Paris-Sud, \u00c9cole de Mines, and Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Avignon et des Pays du Vaucluse, where she has also co-advised PhD students.<\/p>'); <\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> toolTips('.classtoolTips5','Postdoctoral Fellow in the TADaaM team at Inria Bordeaux - Sud-Ouest.<br\/><br\/>&nbsp;<br\/><p align=\"justify\">Short Bio: He holds a degree in Computer Science (2015) from the Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso. In 2017 he obtained a Master\\'s degree in Computing from the Universidade Federal Fluminense. In 2019 he was awarded a six-month sandwich PhD scholarship at the Sorbonne Universit\u00e9 by CAPES Print. In 2021 he obtained the title of Doctor in Computing from the Universidade Federal Fluminense. Nowadays, he is a postdoctoral fellow in the TADaaM team at Inria Bordeaux - Sud-Ouest. His research interests include distributed computing, metaheuristics, distributed systems, storage, and high-performance application scaling.<\/p>'); <\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> toolTips('.classtoolTips11','Assistant Professor at the University of Pierre et Marie Currie (Paris 6), member of the Laboratoire d\\'Informatique de Paris 6 (LIP6), and member of INRIA\/LIP6 Regal Project.<br\/><br\/>&nbsp;<br\/><p align=\"justify\">Short Bio: She holds a degree in computer science from Unicamp, completed her master\\'s degree at the Polytechnic School of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo and her doctorate at the Pierre et Marie Curie University (UPMC), Paris, France. Since 2011, she has been a professor\/researcher at the Faculty of Sciences of the Sorbonne University (formerly UPMC) and a member of the Delys group, a cooperation between LIP6 (Laboratoire d\u2019Informatique de Paris 6) and INRIA. The focus of his research is to propose and adapt distributed algorithms for environments that are heterogeneous, dynamic and subject to failure, such as mobile networks, Cloud, P2P and Grids.<\/p>'); <\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\"> toolTips('.classtoolTips14','Full Professor at the Sorbonne Universit\u00e9.<br\/><br\/>&nbsp;<br\/><p align=\"justify\">Short Bio: He obtained his Ph. D. in Computer Science in 1994, and the \u201cHabilitation \u00e0 diriger des recherches\u201d in 2000 from Paris 6 University, France. Currently, he is a full Professor at Sorbonne Universit\u00e9. His research interests include distributed systems and algorithms, large scale data storage, fault tolerance, and cloud computing. He is heading the Delys group which is a joint research team between LIP6 and Inria Paris. He was member of the Program Committee of major conferences in the areas of distributed systems and parallelism (DISC, ICDCS, IPDPS, OPODIS, ICPP, Europar,\u2026) and serves as General chair of SBAC and EDCC.
